Gamification Mentor and Hackathon Judge – DESS x IEEE

Guided participants in creating engaging interactions and judged solutions at the DESS (Digital Engineering Student Society) x IEEE Student Branch x Schulich Ignite Scavenger Hunt Hackathon.Promoted creativity and innovation in gamification design.

September 2023 – May 2024

Vice President External – Schulich Ignite

Strengthened partnerships, led recruitment, and organized impactful events, enhancing the club’s reputation.

Key Achievements:

  1. Organized two Data Visualization Hackathons in collaboration with CANIS, Faculty of Public Policy, and Global Affairs Canada.
    • April 2023: Engaged 170+ participants.
    • November 2023: Engaged 400+ participants.
    • Secured over $30,000 in funding for prizes and expenses.
  2. Coordinated a Scavenger Hunt Hackathon in February 2024 with IEEE and DESS.
