Description

his third-person shooter game system is a comprehensive game mechanic developed from scratch in Unity, designed to deliver a dynamic and immersive player experience. Created as the final project for my Bachelor of Computer Engineering, it showcases a robust set of features, ranging from advanced gameplay mechanics to intelligent enemy AI.

Key Features

  • Weapon System:
    • Seamless weapon switching for strategic gameplay.
    • Dynamic SFX and VFX for realistic bullet impacts and footsteps, adapting to different materials.
  • Locomotion System:
    • Supports two camera modes: precise aiming and freerun for exploration.
    • Includes fluid movement mechanics such as rolling, jumping, and freerunning.
  • Melee Combat System:
    • Engages players in close-quarters combat.
    • Interactive elements include destructible objects for added realism.
  • AI State Machine:
    • Enemy AI capable of patrolling, detecting, and attacking the player.
    • Behavior driven by an intelligent state machine for diverse in-game challenges.

The system was meticulously built from scratch using Unity, showcasing my game development and system design expertise. The project emphasizes:
